Howdy folks,
When viewing "Hardware > Dell Service Info" on the the details page for any computer in my org, all I ever get is "No warranty information gathered for this machine yet. Please hit 'Refresh' button to fetch warranty information."
Hitting the refresh button doesn't actually help.

I'm pretty sure the requests are being blocked at our firewall, as we restrict most internet access for anyone (or thing) that isn't an approved domain user account. Can anyone tell me if the service info lookup happens on the agent or server side? I'm hoping the answer is "server", as that'll be a much easier exception to request.

Yes it is server and I believe it is support.dell.com port 80

Thanks Gerald. I'm getting our firewall guy to check the logs for blocked requests from the kbox.

update: Firewall guy edited the rule for our kbox on the ISA server, I am now fully warrantied!
