Using Upgrade Code
Hi
When repackaging vendor MSI's should I use the same Upgrade Code in my repackaged MSI as in the original, or should I just put the Original Upgrade Code into my MSI as products that should be upgraded by my package?

hmmm.. repackaging a vendor msi , that doesn't sound right....you never should repackage a msi

You are right ofcourse, you should almost never ever repackage a original MSI !
But unfortunately there are software vendors creating all sort of crappy MSI's that causes problems making MST's or MSP's.
So only in these situations would I consider repackaging original MSI :-)
