Since many of you here have to do with big environments, I'd wanted to point out this tool which is specially useful when administrating large amounts of windows servers.

Copying files from or to many servers at once, executing tasks on many servers etc etc.

This is a real time saver for all advanced system administrators;

More information: Farm Commander

It saved me a lot of time, gathering version information for installed applications for example! Distributing file updates for applications, or simply to clean up application servers. Best of all: Farm Commander is free, you only need to register!

It's acceptable for what it is, but I wouldn't use it in any serious enterprise. Logging and reporting is extremely limited, execution results aren't really available on remotely run programs (everything reports as success so long as the path is found.) It does seem decent enough as a straight up file copy utility, but again the logging and reporting are a bit on the flimsy side. Most of the other functions that it has are just calls to the relevant windows API's (one opens up event viewer, one opens up computer management,) which is convenient, but not exactly earth shattering.

If you have no management tool in place for your server farm, this is probably a decent enough place to start if you need something fast.
