Updating an old application with new one.

Good Morning.
I have packaged an application everything is working fine with that application, but one thing we came to know that the application is overwriting the old application and placing the new application.... Can anyone help me in this issue like what exactly happenning with this application.

What is it that you want to do? Do you want the old installation to remain? If so, you'll need to specify a different location as the package's INSTALLDIR. Remember you may need to account for things like shared DLLs, file extension association and so on.
