update the K1000 agent post deployment task to 5.3?
Hi all,
I'm having trouble locating info on updating my post deploy task to the latest version of the agent. here's what I have so far
KInstallerSetup.exe -server=kbox.debisair.loc -ssl_enabled=0 -amp_ssl=0 -display_mode=silent
is the deployment line for the old agent. I want to replace this with the new one.
I understand in the clientdrop dir on the K1000 there is the ampagent-5.3.47173-x86.msi
which is the install for the new agent.
Can I just run this with the same command switches? Would love to just find out without having to do some deployment tests as that takes quite a while to determine if it's correct or not.

Since its an .msi the same commands won't work, here is the command:
msiexec /qn /i ampagent-5.3.47173-x86.msi HOST=kbox.debisair.loc DEBUG=false
msiexec /qn /i ampagent-5.3.47173-x86.msi HOST=kbox.debisair.loc DEBUG=false
