Uninstall Nuance PDF Converter Pro 5.2

Hello everybody,

First of all sorry for my English but I'm french and as you well know Shakespeare language and French are not very friendly [;)].
So my problem is that i want to uninstall with SMS (Batch) PDF Coverter Pro 5.2 but all of computers have Office 2000 Pro. I read Nuance documentation and i know that computers that have Office 2000 Pro must reboot after PDF Converter PRO 5.2 uninstallation, but may be one of you, found a magic solution...
I tried msiexec /x "Product.msi" /norestart; msiexec /x "Product.msi" REBOOT=ReallySuppress without result.
I tried to modify RebootYesNo property on Property Table and put value No with an MST without success.
So if you have an idea, you're welcome.

Best Regards

PS: Really sorry fo my english.

If you log the uninstall with a verbose log, you should get a better idea of why the reboot is required and if you can engineer it out or not.

Hello everybody,

so i log Uninstall Nuance PDF Converter PRO 5.2 and i found mutltiple actions that could influence computers reboot, i tried to isolate it:

Action start 14:53:22: InstallFinalize.
Info 1903.Scheduling reboot operation: Deleting file C:\Config.Msi\819698.rbf. Must reboot to complete operation.
Info 1903.Scheduling reboot operation: Deleting file C:\Config.Msi\8196a0.rbf. Must reboot to complete operation.
Info 1903.Scheduling reboot operation: Deleting file C:\Config.Msi\8196ef.rbf. Must reboot to complete operation.
Info 1903.Scheduling reboot operation: Deleting file C:\Config.Msi\8198a9.rbf. Must reboot to complete operation.
Action ended 14:53:41: InstallFinalize. Return value 1.

Nuance [14:53:41]: MsiUtil::SetForceReboot function start. Nuance [14:53:41]: MsiUtil::SetForceReboot function end

Property(S): SSFORCEREBOOT = 0
Property(S): REBOOT = Force
Property(S): DOCUCOMNEEDREBOOT = Yes

But i don't find Scheduling reboot, i don't find function called MsiUtil::SetForceReboot, i don't know value property that could replace REBOOT = Force and i don't understand what is DOCUCOMNEEDREBOOT

Sorry for my ignorance but i'm not a specialist wit MSI architecture.

Best regards.
