Uninstall driver
Ive created an installer which installs a driver with DifxApp. In the latest release of the software, the driver has changed, so I want the user to uninstall the program, and then install the latest version (an upgrade is not possible, due to the way the installer was designed a few years ago.) Is there any possible way that the user does not need to restart between uninstalling, and then installing the latest verison. Everytime I try this, the installer Rolls back.
Im sure that customers will not be happy having to uninstall, restart, install, restart, since some of the computers that the software is on is on servers.
I dont mind if the user only has to reboot once.

thanks for your reply [:D]
I already read over those articles, but they give no information about reboots, or how to avoid having to reboot twice in my situation.
Maybe not specifically, but I did notice this link which specifically addresses creating a windows installer package, where the normal reboot behavior would apply.
