It prompts a message " MSIB3.TMP has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." And when I click Ok it says " Error 1722: A program run as part of setup did not finish as expected"

Also the installation logs says " Error 1722.There is a problem with this Windows Installer package. A program run as part of the setup did not finish as expected. Contact your support personnel or package vendor. Action C1UnGacTrueDBGrid, location: C:\WINDOWS\Installer\MSIB3.tmp, command: "C:\Program Files\ComponentOne Studio.NET\bin" /uf C1.Win.C1TrueDBGrid

There is also a custom action in msi C1UnGacTrueDBGrid in which there is condition in Install Exec Condition and a sequence in Install Exec Sequence.
I played the condition as well but of no help

I don 't know the application but it looks like the package is unable to uninstall the .Net version of TrueDBGrid.

As a test, try uninstalling that manually, then try uninstalling your package.

My Package pre-requisite is VB .net 2.0.
My package also installs C1.Win.C1TrueDBGrid.xml and C1.Win.C1TrueDBGrid.dll at location C:\Program Files\ComponentOne Studio.NET\bin.

How do I manualy uninstall .net version of TrueDBGrid. I am not getting it.

Please help...
