Troubleshooting KBE Manipulator

I recently tried using the KBE Manipulator to upload an ISO of Boot and Nuke, which is said to be supported in the documentation.

I complete the necessary fields, the Media Manager lanches and populates the necessary fields, it appears to start the upload process then I immediately recieve the error "Error."  How can I further troubleshoot this issue?  Does the Manipulator have logs so I can figure out what's going on here?  The media manager uploads files without issue, and I get a specific error about the password if I type that wrong, so I'm pretty confident that isn't the issue.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

  • Any other ideas on how to troubleshoot this? It's kinda frustrating when I have a nondescript error message. - jgrotkier 10 years ago

make sure you do not have both the waik and adk installed on this machine (actually it looks for the file structure so even uninstalling will not always fix it).

I am using version 3.5.0.0 of the KBE and it works ok.

Comments:
  • I was unable to find any folder structures for the ADK (I'm not positive where to look actually) but I grabbed a fairly newly imaged machine and installed the WAIK, the Media Manager and the KBE Manipulator from scratch. I ran through the process and it started copying this time (it didn't do that last time) and then generated the same error again. - jgrotkier 10 years ago
