Run legacy Wise Installation Wizard EXE with a log

I have an MSI (Toad for Oracle) which launches a WIS EXE to install a product called 'Knowledge Expert'. On my packaging box, this EXE runs and installs the product. On my test box, I can install it using the local admin account. However, when the MSI is run via Group Policy, the Custom Action returns a value of '1' but Knowledge Expert isn't installed. There are no entries in the event log and no log file which I can find.

Does anyone know if these EXEs can be persuaded to write a log file?

Expecting a negative, I'm already working on removing the call to the EXE and re-packaging it as an MSI but it's be useful for future reference.

We did a package for a client of Toad 8 a while ago. From what I can remember it was easy to do using snapshots.

Sorry, I don't think there are any logging switches, these are the only ones I know of.

Toad 9 conceals an MSI which is what I'm using so no need to snap Toad itself. Thanks for the switches: looks like I'm going to have to snap Knowledge Xpert, though. Rats....
