Run custom action then remove files
Hi,
On uninstall, does anyone know how to run a deferred custom action (type 3314) before RemoveFiles is run? The custom action relies on a file put down on install (and is removed on uninstall), I've tried changing other sequence number in InstallExecuteSequence table with no joy. I don't really want to make these files permanent.

Is there a chance that you could put those files you need into the msi so you don't need to put them on the machine at all? For such a custom action choose "....from Installation" instead of "....from installed files".
