Why dont you try EMCO MSI PACKAGE BUILDER -- THIS WILL DO WHAT YOU WANT.
And it is easy to use. Let me know what you think of it

Ask sonic to send you a document with the command lines. Once I got that from them it worked a charm.
I'd post it here, but it's the header says Sonic Confidential and I don't want to get in trouble. [;)]

I was searching for these command lines for version 10 and came across this KB article http://kb.roxio.com/content/kb/General%20Information/000068GN?set-locale=en

It appears silent installs are only supported as part of the Volume License program. I am trying to do HP OEM installs and apparently this isn't supported. Pretty rediculous.

It's pretty simple. If the EXE spits out an MSI, use that with a transform. If it doesn't, capture it and create one.

The problem is it calls each feature (about seven of them) as a seperate msi and those all have transforms. I was able to run an OEM HP recovery CD and it created C:\SYSTEM.SAV\ARCD.LOG . In this log file is all the command lines for each item that is installed. The entry for Roxio uses:

SETUP.EXE /qn REBOOT=ReallySuppress

I couldn't find anything documented (manuals, /? etc...). I don't think I have seen the paramaters passed raw into a setup.exe like this before, but it works.

Anybody check with the vendor yet, as I suggested...oh, way back in 2003? [:D]
