Repair Button Missing

I recently upgraded to Wise Package Studio 7. I have been creating transforms for packages without issue, but capture installations are showing this behavior. It seems even if I leave the hide repair button unchecked or even set the property ARPNOREPAIR =0 there is no repair button available in add/remove applet. I am alittle baffled on why this is happening only on the capture install.

Check the property table and if the ARPNOREPAIR property is present, whatever it's value, then remove it altogether from the table and then retest.

Let us know your findings [:)]

Does the NoRepair DWORD reg entry with a value of 1 exist under HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\<{ProductCode}>?

When you have the WSI or MSI opened with the Windows Installer Editor, look in the following location for the options you are talking about:

Under Installation Expert
Add/Remove Programs
you have the options to hide the modify, repair and remove buttons.

Check to see if any of those options are checked.

KJ,
Please read the whole post; this has already been noted by spartacus.
The ARPNOMODIFY, ARPNOREPAIR & ARPNOREMOVE properties are set by checking or unchecking the options in Installation Expert -> Add/Remove Programs.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
