Redirect "My Documents" to a network path!

I want to create a package which redirects "My documents" folder to H:\work so that whenever i open "My documents" folder it must open the folder work in h drive.
I tried modifying registry [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders]
"My Documents"="H:\\work"
...but no much help.

Also i tried capturing the manual process of changing the target path and creating an MSI but it changes the path to C:\work.

Please suggest how to go about it.

Thanks in advance!

Using a package to do this is completely the wrong approach. Use Group Policy.

Thanks Ian for the useful link.

However in our scenario (we cant use GP) modifying a few registry entries did a workaround.

why would you not use a GPO I agree with Ian your approach is very wrong.

this method is likely to require a reboot not to mention the many other issues your introducing by doing this.
