Kindly suggest how to limit access to a process as in "if an user(even if it is administrator) tries to end the process from task manager he/she should receive an Access Denied error.
The process starts running at startup and resides in system tray. We need to implement this logic in an MSI package.
Appreciate your help!

I think you would probably have to run the EXE as a system service using something like SrvAny but you could then run into issues with the UI, dialogs, etc.

Why not simply remove TASKMGR.EXE? Your administrators/desktop Johnnies could load it from a permissioned share if and when it's required. Hopefully, your machines are locked down to prevent users installing other process managers.

Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, as per requirement we can't run it as system service. While, We'll have a discussion whether taskmanager option can be implemented in our environment or not.
