Point to a .config file during installation
Hi All!
I have a .MSI package that I need to point to a config file during installation. Which parameter should I use?
Silentfile? or what??
Thanks in advanced...

Do you need to install a MSI with the location of the config file as a parameter? And how would anyone do that, given that there is no facility within the Windows Installer engine to accept config files?
My guess is that the OP is asking how to point to CONFIG.XML for one of the MS Office apps, or the Office suite. In that case, the argument you need to pass to SETUp.EXE is "/config [path_to_the_file]\CONFIG.XML", information about which is available on.....ooooooooooh, I don't know, a gazillion web sites? Attempting to configure and deploy MS Office 2007 (and its companion products like Visio and Project) using JUST the MSI(s) is a black art. There's a lot of information here (at AppDeploy) so use the Search function.
Of course, the above could be completely erroneous, if the OP wasn't asking about Office but then, asking the right question is half the battle to getting the right answer. Providing too little information isn't a very good idea.
