Patching problems

Im trying to create a minor patch for an application at my company. Ive got the old msi, and then a new msi with the new changes (replace 2 dll´s). Then ive went through the patch creation wizard (in wise), and created the msp, but the files never get replaced when I install the patch. So I created a test package which only installed 1 text file into installdir, and then I created a patch to replace the file with a newer one (just changed the text in the text file), but it never gets replace, does anyone know what im doing wrong?

I know in Install Shield there is an option to override the file, because a lot of time that file version are the same so I will not replace it.

Create a verbose log of the installation. That will show you why the files didn't get replaced.
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
