Packaging ActiveX to MSI in Admin Studio
Hi!
Is it a way in Admin Studio to create an MSI from a ActiveX?
I don´t have any EXE-file and the ActiveX shows only when I go to a certain webpage. So I have to do some sort of capture.
In Wise package studio it was easy to do but using Admin Studio I don´t find how to do it.
Please help!
Greetings
Calle

You start a setup capture and install the ActiveX in your browser. You should then capture the files that go into the Downloaded Program Files folder.
Personally I tend to set all DLL files that come in the download to self-register for an ActiveX package.

you don't have to provide a setup.exe if you use snapshotting I believe
or if you can't get past that stage, you can always provide notepad.exe as your 'setup'
What is the title/name for this Active-X control?

It´s from IBM Lotus Notes ActiveX. But is it possible in Adminstudio to just run setup capture without specify an exe?
