  • Non of the links provided below (excluding the superuser.com one) work. Can someone provide a step by step to install MS Lync 2011 for Mac to deply with Kace?

If memory serves, I had to zip up the .dmg file to get it to install silently.

Also, if you are looking to use an alternate download location, it won't work properly with Lion because Apple put a proprietary SMB/Samba implementation in.

It appears you might be able to script around it: http://superuser.com/questions/336665/how-to-automount-smb-shared-network-drives-in-mac-os-x-lion

  • jknox - Do you remember what the installation command was that you used for the zip .dmg in Kace in order to deploy silently? Thanks for the help!
    • A MI should unzip automatically, so I don't think any command change is needed. I'll see if I can run through a MI later and update this.
