Office 2003 update problem
Hi,
I have the task of re-deploying Office 2003. I have downloaded all the Office updates and applied them to the PRO11.msi using the msiexec /p command, this looks fine. However after install our update server is still detecting that the updates havent been applied and wants to install!.
Any help on fixing this would be appreciated

I know *nothing* of how WSUS or its predecessor works but doesn't it record data in the registry, other than the normal Windows Installer junk, about its activities? I suggest you find/create a sacrificial workstation, run ProcMon or, better, a snapshot tool (I use the Ziff-Davis utility In Control), and then let the update server do its thing. You can then see what it's done to the workstation and adjust your transform accordingly to create the necessary registry entries.
