office

Hey all,

I 'm trying to package outlook 2003, I need to package and deploy on systems that already has office 2003 on it.

I used the CIW. I tried keeping the default state, and giving outlook as run from my computer first and ,
second also tried giving not available hidden and locked for the other features (excel, access etc) and clicked outlook as run from my computer.

Both ways The outlook is not installing on already present office. But installs just outlook (with the 2nd method)
when office is not present.
With office it just configures and does not install outlook.

What am I missing on?

Please Advice

Thanks

Have you read the 'Package KB' or the very extensive documentation on how to install separate components of Office on MSDN/TechNet?

I have looked there.. I have tried those methods.
I am able to create a MST for the Outlook.. I think I am missing on something, because When I try to install setup.exe TRANSFORMS="New Custom Setup File.MST" /qb- and aslo tried

msiexec /i "Pro11.msi" TRANSFORMS="New Custom Setup File.MST" /qb-
the install just configures, but the outlook is not there..
Rating comments in this legacy AppDeploy message board thread won't reorder them,
so that the conversation will remain readable.
