network disconnection while installing App-V 4.6 SP2

Im currentling installing App-V 4.6 SP2 on top on App-V 4.6 SP1 hence doing an upgrade installation. Im doing the installation using msi,mst silently. However some strange things are happening.
The upgrade is done successfully on desktops, however while installing on laptops there is network disconnection, if i ping a server almost 4 packets are lost even though the upgrade the sucessfull. This is not acceptable while installing from SCCM as no error code is returned.
Also i have observed that it happens in standalone installation as well but always happens if the msi is installed silently (/qn) however if installed from UI the network disconnection is not observed.
Has anyone ever faced such network disconnection while installing SP2 on laptops and what is the possibble cause/solution for it.

What i have found is if i pass MSIRESTARTMANAGERCONTROL="Disable" in the command line and install it with /qn or /qb the issue of network disconnection is not observed, hence that should be the solution.
