My first post... ahh
My brains exploding...
Not really but I thought it might get your attention...
Blackice replacement - Proventia Desktop 8
Does anyone have uninstall experience when it's locked down?
Three services running - if you run the removeagent executable it laughs at you and tells you to stop the services...
If you run net stop it laughs with access denied errors
Strange behaviour indeed...
Checking the registry - the app is really playing strange games - service reg entries come and go and change perms willy nilly (not an expression I use lightly :) when you turn services off/on from within the application
Any previous?
Answers on a postcard... Teddingdon lock, Middlesex
Back to my beer
Kind regards,
Al
Inherited problem... you can't choose the people you didn't work with

Dear Mr AB,
I think the two commands you need are:
c:\Progra~1\ISS\issSensors\DesktopProtection\RapApp.exe -aps(may need to include password on this line to disable BI services, as they are probably locked down.)
c:\Progra~1\ISS\issSensors\DesktopProtection\agentremove.exe
Hope this points you in the right direction,
Thanks,
Dunnpy
