XP SP4, eh? LOL

Anyway...If you're going to be capturing a server-targetted application, I'd certainly recommend doing that on the actual OS. Do you not have server OSes installed in VMs for just such occasions? Your organisation should have an MSDN subscription, allowing you to install such OSes for development purposes.

Are you going to create the package manual or by "capture"?

I have created a Server 2008 64bit VM. But now the question is that i have one application (.exe) with 32bit and 64bit version.
Do i need to install Server 2008 32bit and 64bit both for creating packages for 32bit and 64bit version or i can make both the package in only one machines.

If you want to create a package (by capturing) for 32 bit app, you must have a 32 bit OS VM.
If you want to create a package (by capturing) for 64 bit app, you must have a 64 bit OS VM.

It depends on the OS that you want to target, If its a 64 bit OS, why bother to capture 32 bit app.

I don't know about Wise, but if AdminStudio is installed on a 64bit OS and you try to run a 32bit app to perform a capture on a 64bit OS, it won't work if the 32bit app is designed specifically to not install on 64bit.

It may sound obvious, but there it is anyways.

Thanks a lot. I got your point.
