I get this error when I try to install multiple different Microsft MSI files/updates from a network drive:
The installer has encountered an unexpected error installing this package. This may indicate a problem with this package. The error code is 2755 But if I copy the msi and its files to a local drive the error doesn't occur. It doesn't happen to all packages that I get from MS, but I'm starting to notice it more often, and its starting to get annoying. Note this is only occuring on Windows 2000 servers.
