Moving Kace 100 from VMWARE to Hyper-v

Relativity new to Kace (8months), running as a vm on VMWARE. We are moving to Hyper-V and I wanted to know if Kace could be moved as well and if there is a cost involved for licensing. Moving servers was simple and straight forward and if it is possible, is it just as easy. Thanks

It is relatively easy. Follow this KB article:
https://support.quest.com/kb/119863

In short: You download the backup out of the old one, setup a new one and restore the backup.
There is no fee for changing the license, you can use the same license for the new appliance.
But not at the same time for both, so shutdown the old one when setting up the new one.
