Minimising cmd.exe box during build process

Managed to stop any user interaction with the cmd.exe dos box during the build process by disabling keyboard and mouse interaction but the question i have had from the customer is "Can we minimise or hide the dos cmd.exe completely during the build process ?"

Any ideas ?

Thanks dugullett, i should have been more specific, its during the build part of an image deployment process not an application deployment scenario

  • Ah... so something more like this? This will throw up a updating splash screen so that users will not see anything but this. It's an exe that you add as your first post install.

Make sure to run through your deployment first to verify it's working. If not this screen will stay up forever. You will need to add a reboot as your last post install to get rid of it.

What version agent are you running?

I've used a bat to exe converter in the past. This will create an exe of your install which will not generate a CMD prompt.
