Why managed install tries to install the same software repeatedly even when the software is installed ?

Typically this happens if your managed install isn't associated with the exact version in the software inventory. When creating a MI the best practice is to install manually on one computer and then upload the installer to the software title that KACE detects after updating inventory on that machine. You then create the MI based on that software title.

The software you installed most likely did an update after the MI.  At that point it was not the correct version to Kace, so the K1 did it's job and installed the version you specified.
