Making a package which reading the properties from a txt file

I have a question for all your packaging experts out there. I was wondring is it possible to write a package which reads the properties setting from a general txt file during installation.
If yes please explain how to make one

There's no way to do this natively in MSI. You would have to build a script to do this. You could then either run the script as a Custom Action, setting each property's value with Session.Property or run it externally and pass the properties and values on the command line.
