Logo Overrides
I am trying to upload a logo to our User Portal, but it is not showing up. It is a .jpg, and it's only 150x57. Where is it supposed to show up?

i know this is a long time ago post but I was looking for this topic. I uploaded a transparent gif, since 6.0 it seems kace is a lot less fussy. The gif I used was full colour transparent and larger than the specific sizes. It seems to work OK, except ..... when you log out it still shows the Dell logo. I have yet to investiagte this. Works OK on the helpdesk and log-in logo though.

When I go to Settings and upload an image, it doesn't show up in the box next to User Portal. I've done this multiple times. All I can see is a Delete button, but no image. I'm uploading an image from the desktop. Do I need to upload it somewhere else?

Mine doesn't show the logo in the control panel either. You'll have to launch the user portal to check for the logo (i.e. http://kboxname).

It is still not showing up. What is the exact size it needs to be? I've tried the smallest size, and it is still not showing up.

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. I sent an email to Kace support, and they indicated that there was a bug that was causing the logo override issue.

Has anyone had any luck changing the agent logo? I followed the guide and made it 20x20, but it's stretched.
Also, the user portal logo needs to be transparent, but they only allow jpg. It really looks awful without being able to be transparent. As far as I know, JPG doesn't support transparency. The only ones that support it are.PSD, .PNG, .TIFF or .GIF

Here is a question KACE may like to answer. Why do we need to upload a jpg and a bmp when KACE use a gif?

Has anyone found a way to upload a transparent file? i've tried the recommended sizes and .png file, but no luck.
