lenovo battery program
Hi All !
Lenovo has released a peace of software lenovobatteryprogram.exe for checking if the battery has to be recalled.

This software installation is made with in Install Shield. I would like to make the installation silent because we have over 100 T43 and T60 that has to be checked.
Tryed with Wise SetupCapture and made a MSI. But a lot of errors came up when installing the program on a test machine.
Has anyone made a successfull silent install?

Hi Thorsten.. this will help you.
Fist call the Setup.exe with the Parameter -r
after this retrieve the file Setup.iss from your Windows Folder.
now call the Setup.exe with Parameters
in my case setup.exe /s /f1"%pathtoissfile%\Setup.iss" /f2"%logfilepath%\battery.log"
this are the common parameters for silent installs using instalshield. in my case it worked
