Latest Windows Update Installed Report

I'm hoping someone can help me with a request from my parent company to generate a report from our K1000 with the first column containing the PC name and the second column containing the very latest Windows update installed including the KB number/name.

  • Given that a patch deployment schedule will deploy multiple patches or updates during each deployment, how will you define "latest"? - MichaelMc 7 years ago
    • Latest in this case would be the highest KB number - wkirkland83 7 years ago
  • I don't think it works that way. Looking at several recent patches for Windows 10 available from Kace, I see the following KB numbers and release dates:
    KB3150513 10/13/16
    KB3191208 10/11/16
    KB3194496 9/29/16

So, highest KB number is not going to give you the latest. - MichaelMc 7 years ago
  • So you want the 'latest' patch to be the one most recently installed by KACE? If the user (or WSUS if you have it) installs a KB, should those be considered when determining 'latest'? - JasonEgg 7 years ago
