kbox 2000 mysql cleanup/optimize

I have been using my kbox2000 a LOT the last week or so and I am getting a warning on MySQL "KBDB" isam/myisam table-space usage specifically on em_image_manifest.  Is there a builtin (or something else) utility to run that will do a health check or optimization on the mysql database on the 2000 box?

Try running a Purge (located in Settings & Maintenance > Appliance Maintenance tab) and then rebooting.

Support has some patches for the K1 that you could apply that will run checks against the table and attempt to clean it up, so they may have the same for the K2 if you open a ticket.  I would probably open a ticket anyway if you're getting warnings.

Ya I can't open a ticket.  Due to budget cuts I had to let a bunch of support contracts expire. kboxes being two of them.

  • That's too bad, hopefully someone here is a SQL guru cuz I certainly am not. Is anything being adversely affected? I am curious in case I ever see this warning. - nheyne 11 years ago

It doesn't seem to be.  I just happened to notice it because I wanted to see how the 50 clones at a time was beating up the network usage.

I'm fairly sure it will clear up once I am done imaging my new classrooms.
