K1000 report schedule issues
Hi guys,
I am trying to schedule reports about my
assets in the k1000.
I am a bit confused. Which email is going to
send the reports? is it the admin email shown
in the general setting or is it the email in the
network setting page.
So far I have put in my emailĀ in the network settings
page, so peopleĀ receiving any reports from my schedule
will see it coming from me. But its not working.
Thanks people.

Mine come from reporter@kaceserver where kaceserver is the fully qualified domain for our appliance.

Hey Chuck...
And where is this name stored. Which field?
In the network setting.....? where?
So I can try it on our kace appliance.
Also does this name have to have an account in our exchange server??
Cos ultimately the mail will be going out to people on our exchange server.
Thanks - akmagnum 8 years ago-
It isn't a setting as far as I can tell, that's just the address they come from. We do not have a user in our Exchange server with that address. - chucksteel 8 years ago

Hey chuck.
Finally figured it out. Was in touch with dell support and this is what they said.....
"Notifications and daily reports come from the default address, Charlie Root, (root@K1000_hostname) and you currently cannot modify this address".
Just an FYI...
