Hi, using the K1000 if an agent is on a machine and for whatever reason the name or IP changes on that device how do we fix that agent so it reports in correctly ?   Thanks

The KUID in the registry should still be a unique identifier even if the system name or IP changes so it should still have the same computer inventory record.

You can always force an inventory update from the computer itself and that will update name/ip (assuming Windows):

c:\program files (x86)\dell\kace\runkbot 4 0

They use the kuid for the anchor, so a name change involves find the old name and click on force update in the console or reboot the machine

I change the PC description via vb script, but, it won't change in kace until the amp agent gets restart or system reboots.
