K1000 6.3 missing patches?

Patch Tuesday stuff came in via patch download on our k1000, but according to https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/ms15-MAR?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396 we did not get all of them on our K1000. I am not seeing MS15-018 thru MS15-021, and MS15-027. All are listed a Security patches, and Critical so our patch subscription should have pulled them down. The 6.3 upgrade changed how you can subscribe to patches, so I stopped relying on my older smart labels and went with this:

Should those have not been downloaded as well? What am I missing?

Mine is the same way since my download ran before they were posted

They do not instantly show up.  They were released late last night. What time does your detect run and what time does your download run?????

The system needs to go thru it's normal cycle or you need to force an update to get those now.  A detect needs to run to see they are missing then a download needs to run to get them.  My detect runs every 4 hours and I only download once a day at 11pm.

I ran a detect now and waiting about 15 minutes then went to control panel - patch download and did a run now and they all showed up on mine.

Comments:
  • They were downloaded around 4AM. I re-ran my detect cycle this morning around 10, and the missing patches are not even being detected as missing. Re-downloaded patches at 11AM, nothing new came down. However, I do not see MS15-018 thru 021 in your patches either. ( Well, I do see 19, but I'm not patching any server OS')

Also....can someone shed some light on Patch Packages and why they are blank? I have to view individual patches in my catalog to see anything. - kelleyplumos 9 years ago
    • those patches are a "important" severity not critical, you need to modify your subscription settings application patches impacts to all. see other ans for my settings - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
      • https://technet.microsoft.com/library/security/MS15-018. IE11 on Windows 7 shows as critical there and on the March summary page. Is the "Important" designation coming from somewhere else? I understand how to download and apply "Important" vs "Critical" patches, but everything I'm seeing says these should have been criticals. - kelleyplumos 9 years ago
      • I would open a ticket and ask them about that, it would be nice to know a definition of the 2 columns of impact and severity and who makes that decision of what they are. If you get an answer from them post that as a blog for others to see. - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
      • at least you now know why you do not see them - SMal.tmcc 9 years ago
      • I would open a ticket, but I'm waiting for my support contract renewal to process. - kelleyplumos 9 years ago
      • ...I think I found out why. I had my detect cycle only looking for critical severity patches. - kelleyplumos 9 years ago
