Tried to UNC into \\Mykbox\drivers and get the Windows cannot access.....You do not have permission...  I've checked and doubled checked that I have the Samba share password and even changed the password.  Still no access.

see if you can get to \\kbox\petrmp or \\kbox\peinst, also try it from a different machine to make sure you do not have a cached password. If this all fails open a ticket.

  • Tried those as well yesterday and I don't cache passwords. Wierd that it happened after the upgrade. I just wanted to check my drivers to make sure the upgrade didn't wipe them like the last upgrade did. Will open a ticket. Thanks.

Figured it out - I get NO pop-up prompt requesting credintials unless I UNC to the Root (\\kboxname\) first. I just thought it wasn't going anywhere. It used to prompt me regardless if I UNC'ed to the Drivers, PostInstall folders etc. If I use the New Win System Image Mgr program to create answer files it doesn't work either - no prompt - no nothing. I UNC to the root, enter credintials and everything works great. What a pain.
