.ISM files?

The place I now work uses AdminStudio 10.0. I've used Wise Script Editor for years and I know with .WSE files there were sites like DragonSoft that had .wse files that others had written that you could download.

Are there any sites out there that have .ism (install shield) scripts written? We have not found anything worthly yet.

Thank you.

As far as I remember (it's been quite some time since I last worked with Wise) Installshield's .ISM file is the equivalent of Wise's .WSI file, not the .WSE file, the former being the project file, the latter a script file (right?).
On a related point, using InstallScript means installing the InstallScript Engine on the client machines, so it's not as 'clean' as a Wise Script is. For that reason, as a rule, I don't use InstallScript in my packages (I normally use VBS instead) and I think there are quite a few packagers here that share my sentiment.

In closing, to answer your actual question, I've never run into a site that offers pre-made .ISM files, but then nor have I ever seen pre-made WSI files being shared...

Kind Regards,

PJ
