InstallShield Scripting Engine Merge Modules
Hi,
Can anyone point me to where I can get version 8 and 9 of the installshieldscriptingengine.msm which used to be linked on this page (links no longer work):
http://www.installshield.com/downloads/modules.asp?prod=ISX&lan=english&xmlUse=y
Feel free to email me at grainger@gmail.com
Thanks,
Richard.

Wow, that's a major drawback from Macrovision's side.
What in h*ll would be the benefit from removing them, one could only guess [:'(]
I guess you would have to find them from some other place or by downloading evaluation versions of their products as these installs different versions of the merge modules.
If I recall from an old post discussion we had way back regarding using the InstallShield engine merge modules by those that hadn't payed for their product, I think that someone spoke with IS/Macrovision regarding this and they said it out loud that that isn't allowed or breaking their license agreement or whatever phrase they now used.
