How to determine uniquely named folder during install?

I have a legacy setup installation ( Documents To Go) that I would like to repackage into an MSI. During the install it reads a file from another application to determine what users have been setup for that application. From that file it can determine what the name of the users folder is that is located under C:\Program Files\Palm\usersfolder\ to copy files into. Since this folder will have a unique name for each installation how can this be accomplished? My tools available are Orca and FlexNet Admin Studio Zenworks edition.

are you simply saying you want to create files into a folder with the users name.

or are you asking that you want to lookup user details from a known location ?

Hi.
If the file you need to query is a constant name then you could use the appsearch action to search for the file. Start the search from level 'C:\Program Files\Palm'.
This action will return the path to the file and store in the property of your choice for later use.
