How to create advertise shortcut using command line ..??

Hi all ,
Can any one suggest me how to create advertise shortcut using command line . My app is not having any .exe files its having loose files and the exe for shortcut is from other app and the argument is required from the app i am packaging .

Plz help me in solving the problem .

IIRC there's no way to create an advertised shortcut with a file that's not in the app.

use properties to read/store the location of the EXE and parameters.

Hi Ankit,

Create a Link file which points to the exe of the other application, Make your shortcut point to the link file and include the linkfile in the same component in which the shortcut exists(Set the link file as key file) and advertise the shortcut.
