How to create a service account for patching
We just purchased the K1000 and are looking at creating a service account that has limited ability to install agents, poll for installed applications and installed updates and push updates. We'd prefer not to use a Domain Admin account for security reasons.
Has anyone tried this, successfully and may have some advice to offer as to how to work through it. I've been Google searching for about 2 hours and my eyes are getting tired.

I don't believe you can change the account the kbox agent uses to do any of its functions. your domain account is used to install the agent but after that the local system account is used for everything else. It maybe the reason you haven't found anything yet.
