You can create MST by using ORCA.
Open your MSI in ORCA and goto Transform -> New Tarnsform. Save your changes.

VBScrab, yes you are right but I have explained a way for creating MST. As a beginner user has to learn and understand and he can choose from all these options.
Pavan, ORCA is really a base tool to do all these stuffs but you should be aware of MSI database which is the first step.

Another n00b (meaning myself) here is trying to create .mst file as answer file, so I could modify license server adress for application I have as .msi file. I downloaded ORCA, but I don´t understand how it works. I tried to read help, but I couldn´t find simple explanation, how to create an answer file. Please help :)

Your better off downloading Insted instead of ORCA it's a bit more friendly and shows you the relationships between the rows in the tables.

The idea would be to change whatever you need in the msi and then generate the transform.

In your case this probably would be adding or changing a Property in the property table

In addition, if you start installation with following parameters: "msiexec.exe /i install.msi /l*v %temp%\install.log", and perform installation of your program, you will see all properties with param in this log.

As VBScab said

or as timmsie said and use Insted.
