I bought a pre-owned  PC and it has e-mails set and locked, it has 3 diff media players going etc..

It is recommended to format all drives on a used machine to make sure any malware is removed. Original settings can be reapplied with a clean install of the OS, or a factory restore CD / DVD.

Google the model and doing a factory restore.  Many computers now have a partition that has the origional factory image kept on it and can be restored... otherwise just load it off Windows 7 discs.

  • I would always fully format anything used. You have no idea what has been put on it.
