How can I add one driver to the KBEx64?

We have a Startech USB NIC for a dell xps and I am trying to add the driver to the KBE. What is the best way to do this?

Thanks

The driver would go into your \\K2000HOSTNAME\drivers\kbe_windows_x64 share.  I recommend creating a Custom folder in that directory, another named StarTechUSBNIC, and then placing the extracted (inf, dll, etc.) files within that folder.  You would then go to your Library Module->Drivers tab and choose Recache Drivers from your Choose Action dropdown.  Then you will need to rebuild your KBE with the Media Manager.

  • I agree I have created a directory with our org name and then created sub dirs under that for each driver I need to add. This way you know which drivers you placed on the kbox.

Place the driver in \\k2000\peinst\drivers\kbe_windows_x64\dell-winpe-a06\network and rebuild your KBE.
