Hi All
Hi All
We have just started the Vista Repackaging using wise 7.0
We are getting some issues relating to log file and .dat file.
The error message being Couldnot be compressed.......
Also after deleting these files the application does go for repair everytime we launch the shortcut(This happens only in user mode ,not in admin mode).
Looking forward to hearing from you all soon..
Thanks and regards
sumit

Hi Sumit,
check event log and see which component its trying to self heal....u may have included some system related files or temp files in ur package, specifically in the component that is coming in the eventlog ehich is not required.
self repairs also triggers if application is looking for/modifying a file wher the user does not have writes. do a filemon/regmon n see if it helps.
