ive been getting a windows installshiel problem 1607

but now it doesnt come up with an error it just freezes before the installtion completes
please can somenone help me

What exactly are you doing when this error comes up? Are you installing/uninstalling a package? Are you compiling a package? I would assume you are trying to install an MSI that is using the ISSccipt runtimes. From what I have seen this is an intermittent error and not even InstallShield knows what is causing it. This is more a question for the application vendor than for package development folks, but check out this website which has some insight into the issue.
