Has anyone tried [font="tms rmn"]
setup.exe -record -responseFile {response_file_name}
on Oracle 8.1.7 client and worked?
I tried numerous times and it wouldn't create .rsp file.
never..
I'm wondering what am i doing wrong?

did u try using the oracle software packager to modify your install?
response files are provided in the \RESPONSE folder in your media. You can modify these...

I haven't tried the oracle software packager but yes i
tried the rsp file from cd but people here tell me not to do that.
so.. I need to record.
and this record doesn't work for me.
I was wondering if it ever worked for anyone oracle 817
