Has anyone came across deploying of BlackBoard Instant Messenger?
I have been approached with the question referencing deploying of BackBoard Instant Messenger via KACE box and would like to know if the issue has been experienced by anyother KACE user[s].

I have not, but a simple Google search pointed me to this web site: http://www.blackboard.com/Platforms/Collaborate/Services/On-Demand-Learning-Center/Enterprise-Instant-Messaging.aspx
Click on the bottom section called "For Administrators" and there are some documents that you can browse. From what I see, you simply add the /S switch after the path to the installer and it performs a silent installation.

i use exetomsi professional and its really useful to build msi packages from exe. But i dont think you need exetomsi for this deployment. You should be able to deploy it by using BlackboardIMSetup.exe /S as a managed install in Kace. - samuelcolt 11 years ago
