GoogleEarth5 in Windows Vista with Directx9

Hi,

I have installed Google Earth 5 with Directx9 as dependency in Vista build. But after launching the shortcut "Google earth" it asks whether to switch to "Direct x mode" yes or no.
If I give "no" , the appliaction launches and if "yes" it quits.
Please suggest how to proceed further.

I'm curious to know what this has to do with 'Package Development' but anyway...

Have you tried monitoring what happens when you click 'Yes' with your favoured process/file/registry monitor?

I was also under the impression that Vista comes with DX10 and NOT DX9 so I wouldnt personally put DX9 anywhere near Vista or Windows 7 ;)

In Vista with DX10 if Googleearth5 is installed, still I am facing the message "would you like to switch to Directx mode","Yes" or "no" when I launch the shortcuts "Start->programs->GoogleEarth->GoogleEarth".

Suggest Dunno really...how about something really crazy, like monitoring what happens when you click 'Yes' with your favoured process/file/registry monitor?
